He has been diving with sharks and other pelagics for several years. He started UW photography as a hobby and he considers himself an amateur still learning every day.

He started by taking macro images but transitioned to wide-angle when he began diving with Great Whites and many other species of sharks such as Tigers and Great Hammerheads.

He also enjoys different formats from drones to 360 video and is a 360Fly Ambassador.

He came up with Save My Fins and is supporting this project with all profits from the sale of his images, t-shirts, and other work to fund this and other organizations to support positive causes to protect the oceans and sharks.

Mina Jang

Kang Bin Lee

Younghoon Kim

These three are film students from the Seoul Institute of the Arts (SIA). They were carefully selected based on their performance and capabilities both in and outside of the classroom.

They were interviewed by faculty and the project directors to ensure they were capable of taking on the challenges of this project as well as being committed to spreading the message of shark conservation.

They each got their dive certifications and are trained in shark awareness protocols. It will be their first time diving with sharks, but they are devoted to promoting #SaveMyFins.

They will be filming and editing the project and creating distribution methods for the younger generation in Asia.

Alexandra "Alex" Rose

Alex is the Science Editor of Ocean Geographic Magazine and Managing Editor of Ocean Geographic Explorers. She is also an underwater photographer and freelance writer/editor. Alex is a PADI Divemaster and a member of the Ocean Artists Society.

She recently founded Blue Ring, Inc., a Benefit Corporation that will allow people to "marry" the ocean for a membership fee of $25 annually in return for a blue silicone ring. The sole reason for the existence of Blue Ring is to support, via many small-scale purchases, the funding of globally significant ocean exploration and conservation projects that will positively shape the future. She founded Blue Ring to create a new method of ocean conservation accessible to and inclusive of everyone who wants to better understand and protect our seas.

She is the Project Manager and has been coordinating operational logistic details of this project.
